AMIE & LUIS’S STYLISH BLACK-TIE BASH AT THE CHERRY BARN, RYE

Amie and Luis’s wedding at The Cherry Barn in Rye was the perfect mix of elegance, love, and let’s not forget—a proper party! Whilst the day started with black-tie sophistication, it didn’t take long for the vibes to turn playful, energetic and downright epic. We were there to capture every heartfelt moment and cheeky laugh, beer in hand by the end of the night (because yes, that’s how we roll!) Here’s how their unforgettable day unfolded, from the pre-ceremony excitement to the full-on dance floor madness.

GETTING READY: CHAMPAGNE, TUXEDOS AND A WHOLE LOT OF LAUGHS

The day started with all the excitement you’d expect from a black-tie wedding at The Cherry Barn. Amie and her bridesmaids got ready in the gorgeous bridal suite, where laughter and champagne flowed freely. There were glam squads (@eloisemaehairmua), last-minute touch-ups and plenty of jokes to keep the mood fun and relaxed.

Meanwhile, Luis and his groomsmen kept things cool as they suited up in sharp tuxedos. With a few pre-ceremony beers and some banter flying around, the morning was filled with laid-back vibes and plenty of anticipation for what was to come. It’s always one of our favourite parts of the day to capture—the little moments of excitement, nervous giggles and happy chaos that set the stage for the big “I do.”

THE CEREMONY: LOVE, LAUGHS AND A FEW HAPPY TEARS

Amie and Luis’s ceremony took place outdoors at The Cherry Barn, with the stunning Rye countryside as their backdrop. It was the perfect mix of sophistication and natural beauty, and the emotional vibes were off the charts! Amie’s walk down the aisle was a standout moment—full of love, happy tears and huge smiles all around. Luis’s reaction? Priceless (and yes, we totally caught it on camera).

After their heartfelt “I do’s,” things took a fun turn with the confetti. Let’s just say their guests brought their A-game—there was confetti flying everywhere! After all, you cant beat throwing stuff at the newlyweds aye?

THE RECEPTION: RUSTIC MEETS SOPHISTICATED

The reception was all about fun, laughter and good vibes with family and friends. The stunning table setups added an elegant touch, but it was the people and candid moments that really made it special. The speeches had everything—funny stories, happy tears and a whole lot of laughs!. As the toasts wrapped up, the tables broke into a spontaneous round of shots, complete with napkins flying and cheers echoing around the barn. It was one of those epic moments that instantly brought everyone together.

But the real highlight? After the speeches, a birthday cake appeared for Luis (because yes, he got married and celebrated his birthday on the same day!). The entire room burst into a loud, joyful rendition of “Happy Birthday,” making the reception feel even more personal and unforgettable, cake looked pretty banging as well to be honest! It was the perfect mix of heartfelt moments and pure fun, setting the tone for an epic evening ahead.

We stole Amie and Luis away for a few quick shots during the reception—and we’re so glad we did! With the vibes high and everyone enjoying the party, it was the perfect time for a quick breather and a chance to capture some authentic moments just for them. Our documentary, candid, and fun approach meant that every shot was natural, full of life, and true to their personalities. There’s no forced posing here—just real moments that tell the story of their day.

Then came the magic: golden hour. The sunset was absolutely epic, transforming the fields into the perfect backdrop for their couple photos. We had so much fun with Amie and Luis, capturing their laughs, smiles and that blissed-out “just married” vibe. And then—bam! Luis popped the champagne! With the sun setting behind them, the champagne cork popped, the fun kicked into high gear with an epic spray. The moment was full of excitement and pure joy and we were right there to capture it in all its bubbly glory. It was the kind of spontaneous, fun moment that makes the photos feel ALIVE!

EVENING: DANCE FLOOR MADNESS AND BEER O’CLOCK

If there’s one thing we love more than capturing the perfect shot, it’s a good party—and Amie and Luis’s evening didn’t disappoint! Black Bird Entertainment took the stage and completely smashed it! Their energy was next level, with banger after banger that had the whole barn buzzing. Let’s just say, the dance floor never stood a chance—it was full from the first beat to the last which we LOVE!

By this point in the day, we were officially part of the party. Beers in hand, cameras still in action, and soaking up the vibes. Perfect end to a perfect day!
